The Conference Committee meeting of the state legislature which attempted to reconcile the House and Senate versions of the Health Freedom Act was a public meeting, but it was not broadcast by the legislature’s video service.
Susan Lynn argued, repeatedly, that the Attorney General was the Governor’s attorney and the Governor trusted him. This is simply incorrect and betrays an appalling ignorance about the office of Attorney General. The Attorney General is NOT the Governor’s attorney. He is not appointed by the Governor. He does not report to the Governor. He is appointed by the justices of the state supreme court.
